The system has four types of balances for each accounting currency: USD, EUR, GBR, AUD. You can set the main currency of your choice and see the amount of all balances in that currency.
If you use PayDo as online banking only, you can see Available and Partner balances at your Personal account.
- Available balance – active funds that can be used for all outgoing payments, including withdrawals and payments for account maintenance services.
- Partner balance – funds that are received through the affiliate program. The balance is active only when you connect a partner and they receive payments through a merchant account. You will receive a reward from each of their transactions – up to 10% of the profit from our commission.
You are free to transfer these funds from a Partner balance to the Available balance and withdraw them at any time. A minimum amount to be transferred to the available balance is 10.00 USD.
If you use a Business account, two more balance types will be automatically added to your account after enabling a project:
- Rolling Reserve - ensuring the safety of merchants, their customers and the bank providing payments from possible losses. It involves withholding a part of funds from the transaction amount to cover potential business risks associated with chargebacks. The reserve amount is calculated based on a certain percentage of each transaction, typically ranging from 5% to 10%. Current reserves are withheld for 3-6 months (the term depends on the type of merchant’s business) and released and transferred to the available balance at the end of this period.
- Pending balance (hold) is an amount frozen for a period of 5 to 14 days, during which we collect funds from all payment systems for transfer to your available balance. The period for which funds are held depends on the type of account, project history, turnover, industry, risk level and other factors that are considered during the project (website) verification.
