PayDo employs two-factor user authentication. Each time you log into the system, change your password or send outgoing transfers, you will need to confirm the action by entering an additional verification code.
By default, after creating an account, the "One-time text code" option is activated. For security reasons, it is not possible to disable the two-factor authentication in your account.
We strongly recommend switching from this option to the Google Authenticator or Authy app.
To connect a new type of two-factor authentication, please follow the steps below:
- Install one of the applications (we highly recommend Google Authenticator) on your Android or iOS device; Links to download applications are available on the Settings page of the account;
On the Settings page below, click “Activate” on the chosen type of two-factor authentication; - After clicking “Activate” in the pop-up, scan the QR code and enter the received token;
- Finally, it is necessary to deactivate the old type of two-factor authentication. Enter the code from the letter in your mail in the pop-up.
